Texas Doctor Indicted for $240 M. Chemotherapy for profit fraud

These types of cases bother me the most. Not only is this doctor accused of ripping off Medicare, and thus, stealing our tax dollars, but he also did this at the expense of patients who were not sick and did not need chemotherapy. Chemotherapy is a very toxic option, that the most sick must weigh in light of their illness. The fact that a doctor, charged with protecting people, allegedly disregarded this in the name of money makes me sick. Although this is not a whistleblower case, it reminds us that this wrongful conduct is more prevalent than we care to admit.
