Is My Contract Dispute Too Small to Hire a Lawyer?

On Behalf of | Mar 27, 2019 | Firm News

I have had many clients approach me with contract disputes that they feel are too small to warrant hiring a lawyer.  In most cases, however, we are able to recover some, if not all of what they are owed.  If the contract provides for the payment of attorney’s fees, then the time a client spends speaking with a lawyer can be time very well spent.  Even if the contract has no attorney’s fee provision, it can be very worthwhile to the client to engage an attorney to help them recover what they are owed.  My clients have been happy to pay me a fee out of their recoveries for the assistance I provided in getting them paid what they are owed from a very reluctant party. From my perspective (and those of my clients) it is certainly worth a telephone call to a lawyer to see if she can help.
